Pregnancy Aqua YogaYoga promotes mental and physical well-being that will greatly help you to enjoy your pregnancy, right through from conception to birth. It will increase your vitality, reduce your stress levels and make you feel close to your growing baby long before he or she is born. In aqua yoga, stretching, breathing and flowing become one in the water. You do not have to have knowledge of yoga to enjoy these classes, each class and pose is tailored to the ability of the individual.
On dry land stretching in yoga is achieved against gravity in standing, sitting and kneeling, prone and suprine poses called ‘asanas’. Together with deep breathing they are the hallmark of this unique form of excercise. Water allows a greater freedom of movement and facilitates the stretch itself.
During the classes you will learn deep breathing techniques and gentle stretches to strengthen, tone and relax you, whilst making space for your baby.
Jo is qualified and insured as a Birthlight Infant Aquatics and Pregnancy Aqua Yoga Dipolma holder and is currently expanding these ‘Aqua Tums’ classes further. Please call Jo to register your interest. |
